Emergency system check…

by admin on December 12, 2010

Entlebucher Mountain Dog Puppy AlfieI ran an emergency system check late Friday night. My human had taken me out to the garden for the last toilet run of the day when I stumbled and fell over some root or something in one of the flower beds. Because I was running so fast, I tumbled and rolled several times before landing in some soft ferns. The automatic emergency puppy cries started almost instantly, before the world had even stopped spinning.

At first I didn’t know where the sound came from, but by the time I realized it was coming from my own muzzle, my human had already scooped me up and carried me inside for a check up. Turns out nothing was broken but I still made a big show of whimpering and limping so they would cuddle me some more. Needless to say, the emergency systems worked just fine but my paw is still a bit sore and I limp a little. If its not better by tomorrow we’re off to the vets again…
