Reporting a Crime
Its Monday again and time for the Monday Mischief Bloghop – and its just in time for me to report something terrible that’s happened.
Some of my best toys have been abducted!
I’m not joking – I think there might be a large scale toy napping operation going on here in London.
It all started with the red ball – it just disappeared. One morning it was just gone, it wasn’t in the garden, it wasn’t under the sofa or behind the humans’ bed either.
I even sniffed the neighbours’ gardens, and underneath the garden shed, but no ball anywhere.
Then a couple of days the monkey disappeared – he was kind of chewed to pieces anyway so I wasn’t too worried about him vanishing.
But then, just after I chewed the rubber sausages off the rope toy and left the room for a split second – that toy went missing too!
That left only one of my favourite toys – the blue ball.
I brought it with me to the park, and I didn’t even mind it being a little broken – it was good enough for a game of fetch anyway.
But then I brought it into the water and it just sort of dropped out of sight, right in front of my nose. I couldn’t even smell it anymore!
What is a poor dog to do without toys? *boring*

Elka shakes her toys around like that. Even if they fit almost entirely in her mouth, like a tennis ball.
Elka and I know you have to shake your toys until they are absolutely ‘dead’ – then you can start chewing! *waggy tail*

Oh, this is very concerning news – I hope you find the culprit and you get your toys back! I would suggest interviewing the cat if you have one. My cat would steal my stuff, I know he would!
There are NO cats in my house – and if there were, she’d be the first one I’d blame! *waggy tail*
Oh you sure found a good replacement “toy”. So do you have to straighten all of the rugs after you play on them? lol

Holy Potty! Whose shoe is that? Oh wow, you remind me so much of Peanuts when she plays with her toys. She’ll toss it in the air and catch it and toss it in the air again.
Nice video. The accompaniment made it sound more like a short action movie.
By the way, let me just compliment you on your super duper shiny coat.

Rooo its my he-human’s shoe, he wasn’t too pleased my other human filmed me playing rather than taking the shoe away from me! *Waggy tail*
Alfie I loved this so much that I have shared it EVERY WHERE!!! OMD I MUST WATCH THIS OVER AND OVER! lol!!
I love how Alfie’s ear flips up in one of the shots and I love the swinging the shoe by the shoelace. This was just great!

I played with Dad’s flip flop this morning, but I forgot he hadn’t left for work yet, so he caught me, game over!! Doh!!
