Monday Mischief: Two Entlebuchers in the Snow

by Alfie Entlebucher on January 21, 2013

Roooo you won’t believe what happened here this weekend! We got some real, fluffy white snow all over the place and its absolutely pawsome!

When my human told me she had arranged a playdate for me and my little sister Bella on Saturday I felt mighty smug. You see its Bella’s first winter and she doesn’t know much about snow yet so I figured she’d believe anything I told her.

I imagined myself pushing her over in the snow, and planting some cold stuff in her face before running off and chasing some snow balls *waggy tail*.

Little did I know that the snow has a strange effect on humans.

You won’t believe this but they turn into puppies!

Big bouncy two legged puppies speaking with high pitched voices, planning something secret.

I could tell they were up to mischief but I wasn’t quite sure what was going to happen so I kept a watchful eye on them.

At first I thought the Mischief was about Snowballs

Its mine!

I've got it!

Wohey!

Then I suspected the Snow Man might be in on the Mischief:

Interrogating the snowman

Suddenly it all became Clear

After a long walk in the snow, the humans plans became clear.

They wanted us to pull them on a sledge!

No way!

I mean I know Entlebucher Mountain Dogs are supposed to be pulling milk carts in our native Switzerland, but come on – pulling a lazy human on a sledge is not on.

You want me to do what?

Alright, I'll give it a go

You're on your own from here on - at least until you loose a few pounds! *waggy tail*

Pulling the sledge home...

We don’t have snow on our place so thanks for posting some fun in the icy environment. Anyway, your photo with the snowman is quite amusing… I didn’t know that they smile when interrogated by a dog…heheh x0x0x Vanilla Bean

Oh Alfie,

I’m super jealous of you guys – I would act like a puppy if I ever got to play in snow too – unfortunately it’s just sunshine here – doh!

I loved the picture of you and Bella hugging, how sweet!!

Have fun my friends,

Your pal Snoopy :)

Hmmmm Snooopy, hate to break it to you buddy but we weren’t ‘hugging’. See that snowball in Bella’s mouth? That’s what we were trying to both get *waggy tail*
