Ever since I went to visit my little sister Bella a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been asking my humans for a rabbit of my own.
You see, Bella has two rabbits who live in a rabbit palace in their garden – and they look like so much fun.
They are fluffy, fat and bouncy.
Not to mention how good they smell *drooling*
Anyway – so I’ve been begging and begging for a little rabbit – I even promised that one rabbit would be enough. I wouldn’t need two.
A couple of days ago a parcel arrived in the post.
‘Its your rabbit Alfie,’ said my human.
I sniffed the packet suspiciously. It didn’t look big enough to hold a rabbit, or a cage, and it didn’t smell like one either so I lost interest.
Then yesterday, the human unpacked the parcel and I could glimpse something green and floppy in her hands. We went out to the garden and I assumed I would get to play with whatever had come out of the packet – rabbit or not. But the human thought it would be a better idea to take some photos first and she sat down by the table and started pressing all the buttons on her camera, trying to set it to super duper speed or something.
I don’t have time to wait for that sort of nonsense so I took matters into my own paws.
I really like my new friend, can he come and stay with us in the house? What do you mean he's muddy?
I don’t understand why my new friend had to go straight into the washing machine – he smelled good enough to me! *Waggy tail*
Are your toys allowed in the house?

I have that toy, but in blue! I love it! Yup, I have a whole basket of toys in the house, and a big basset of them outside
Nola
Its a pawsome toy isn’t it! I have outdoor toys too, but sometimes its fun to bring my indoors friends outside too *waggy tail*
Both boys love taking their toys outside, but Henry isn’t so good about bringing them back in again. He’s toys (the stuffies) get lots of baths. Love the first shot of Alfie peeking at the table.
I think my human managed to capture me looking my my cheekiest in that first pic! My toys get a lot of baths too – they get really muddy outside *Waggy tail*
All that hard work to break in a toy and it’s all ruined by a washing machine.
Thanks for the support Jan – finally someone who really understands *waggy tail*
My person makes me drop my indoor toys before she’ll let me out of the house. Your rabbit looks like great fun. I think I might ask for a rabbit too.
You should totally ask for a wabbit – they are so much fun! *wagy tail*
Getting some good practise in there bro! I love the way you got the toy . I’m allowed to bring my toys in the house … we’ve already had foxes steal 3 toys and wee on another. I’m learning ”bring it” at the moment, especially when they’re at the bottom of the garden. *wag wag wag*
Your foxes should have a mischief blog of their own, shouldn’t they? *waggy tail*
I was so excited thinking you got your own real wabbit! Probably a good think you did not. I have Bunny and love him to death, I am sure you love your green wabbit the same! Careful with the laundry, it killed my Bunny’s squeaker! Emma
LOL we think that is better than a rabbit or two in a cage any day!
the brown dawgs
Its more fun, but the smell isn’t quite as good! *waggy tail*
Oh Wow. I love the action shot. It’s pretty awesome!!!
Hello, Mr. Bunny! You look … errr clean. I think you should get a free pass into the house since it’s your first day and Alfie gave you a massive head ache with all the tossing and turning.
Huggies and Cheese,
Haopee
He does look clean to me too! *waggy tail*
Oh Alfie i love how you were having such a grand time with that adorable bunny!!!!
Dakota said to tell you that his toys are allowed in the house, only because we don’t permit him to take certain ones outside
Have a great day!
I”m not really allowed to bring some toys outside either, but sometimes I run back inside and get them anyway *waggy tail*
It looks like you are having a great time with rabbit even though it doesn’t smell as good as Bella’s rabbits
I did have a pawsome time thanks *Waggy tail*
Ha-ha! I love your new rabbit Alfie! I am so glad it wasn’t a real one though, we love rabbits but right now I am mad at them because they are eating my garden!
Roooo they are eating your garden? You wouldn’t have a problem like that with an Entlebucher in the house – I patrol our garden every day! *waggy tail*
We really like your rabbit Alfie! We are going to show our mom your pictures…maybe she will get us one!
We have a giveaway going on over at our blog. You can enter to win Kevin Walsh’s “Follow the Dog Home” book. Please check it out! You can find it here: http://dogsnpawz.com/our-first-giveaway.html

Bella has one of those too! She doesn’t really know what to do with it. Hrumph.
Alfie’s such a nut. I love his energy! And your pictures, as always, are fantastic.
