When you’re learning something new, whether its dog photography or agility its always useful to check out how the pros do things. So, this week in Alfie’s Friday Foto fun I’ve sniffed out some of the best dog photo blogs on the internet. Some of them are blogging friends of mine and others are simply just full of brilliant dog pictures.
The thing they all have in common is they’re full of creative dog photos and if you’re looking for inspiration, or dog photo tips they’re a good start! In no particular order, here’s the list.
BZ Training
Golden retrievers Zachary and Henry are the stars of a brilliant dog blog called BZ Training. Every week they pose patiently with props, hats and tennis balls so their human can capture the most adorable photos.
Tales and Tails
The Greyhound Bunny is the cover girl of this pink girly dog blog. She loves to dress up and looking good for the camera. As a greyhound she is naturally elegant and her human captures some brilliant shots of her and her doggie friends.
Slobberspace
Photographer Anna Kuperberg shares her photos of happy goofy dogs on her dog photo blog Slobberspace and her shots are amazing!
The Dogs of Greenhill Farm
Simply gorgeous photo blog of Border Collies doing what they do best, running around looking adorable! Well worth a visit, just don’t bring any sheep! *waggy tail*
Very ViVi
We can’t all wake up and look this good every day but the dog photos in this blog are amazing.
Shutterhounds
Greyhounds seem to be popular with photographers round the world – no wonder when the photos end up looking this good! Shutterhounds is a dog photography blog well worth sniffing out.
Gardening with Wyatt
This Airedale Terrier is always up to something cool in his human’s garden! Some very creative and fun dog photos of Wyatt doing everything that’s expected of a garden centre doggie from posing with pumpkins to checking out the apples.
Its the dog’s Life
They are big, slobbery and very photogenic. Meet the St Bernard models of the Its a Dog’s Life Blog.
Do you know any other good dog photo blogs that are worth a visit? *waggy tail*

Nice one Alfie. Nothing makes my day better than a dog’s expressive eyes or a photo of them doing something silly or adorable.
A picture is worth a thousand words, as the quote would go. One of the skills a great owner should have is the talent to capture their pet pal’s moments.
