The main overall winner receives a commissioned oil painting by internationally acclaimed and awarded UK artist, Sara Abbott of their winning photo (value at £450) www.sara-abbott.com
The main overall winner receives the special privilege of their award winning photo being published in KC publications announcing DPOTY winners including a feature cover with their dog photo on our oldest flagship publication, The Kennel Gazette.
The kennel club also just announced on the DPOTY Facebook page that the overall winner will also get a pawsome signed doggie cartoon:
“We are thrilled to announce that our main overall winner of DPOTY 2013 will also receive a signed cartoon print by Rupert Fawcett of #OfftheLeash! Thank you Rupert Fawcett for your kind donation to DPOTY 2013! More great prize news coming soon! “
Buyagift’s Next Pet Model
Buyagift are running a pet photo competition aimed at raising money for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on their Facebook page until 30 August 2013. The most pawsome looking pets (as judged by the peeps at Battersea) can win the following:
1. A pet spa day at a top London spa
2. A selection of pet accessories
3. A professional pet photoshoot
4. A selection of photos to take away
5. Buyagift will donate £1,500 to Battersea on their behalf
6. They will present the cheque to Battersea in person, and also receive a full tour of the shelter
The runner up will also receive a bag full of pet goodies.
The reason they have called it Buyagift’s Next Pet Model is because they’ll be sending the winner on a photoshoot (amongst other things) and all photos from the shoot will be used on their brand new pet accessories product pages – literally making them: Buyagift’s Next Pet Model.
Find out how to enter here.
Paws up who is entering any of these two competitions? *Waggy tail*
