Monday Mischief Bloghop!
Hello and welcome to another week of Monday Mischief. This week I’d like to cover an important subject – ball addiction.
My name is Alfie and I am a ballaholic. There, its out in the open – I feel better already. *waggy tail*
It all started when I was a puppy and I started to fetch them, chew them and carry them around the house – now I just love the buzz of being around them. My mother Queenie is a ballaholic too, and she taught me its a dog’s duty to fetch that ball nomatter what stands in our way. I think my siblings feel the same way too.
My humans say my addiction makes training easier - I would do anything to get my paws on my favourite hol-ee roller ball!
Luckily I’m a dog, so I won’t need therapy just yet *waggy tail*
Where’s the Mischief?
So, this is all interesting, but where’s the mischief I hear you ask. I’ll show you mischief alright – check out this video – is my human doing mischief teasing me or what?

Alfie, I think our people are more full of mischief than us dogs. Maybe they should have a Monday Mischief Blog Hop for people.
Roo that is such a good idea! *Waggy tail*
It’s so hard not to play with a ball when it’s right there, isn’t it?
Its completely impossible not to! *Waggy tail*
Woof! Woof! It’s too obvious who is … Lots of Golden ALOHA n Woofs, Sugar
I thought so Sugar! Aloha!
Definitively mischief Alfie – on your humans part, that is!
But it makes for great dog exercise: you’re looking great!!
*blushing* thank you Inga!
I can’t get Raffi to fetch a ball. We throw it, it arks over his head, he looks at me and says – You get it.
I think my buddy Raffi might be smarter than he lets on! *waggy tail*
Ball crazy is a good way to be.
We like your moves.
the brown dawgs
Rooo thanks pals! finally some dogs who understand me *waggy tail*
My Lab cousin Lena is addicted to her tennis balls too. My sis and I don’t get it as we don’t have much interest in balls at all. It is good for you, though, gives you some focus in life. Emma
Roooh and what a fun focus it is! *waggy tail*
Sherman has the same addiction to a certain ball! He gets goes so crazy over it that sometimes we have to take it away!
Apparently I’ve been staring at the ball too much so my humans now hide it inbeteeen play sessions *waggy tail*
Oh, you poor thing Alfie! Us humans can be so cruel sometimes and I do hate to say it but yeah, you’ve got a problem buddy. Maybe you need to go to ballaholics anonymous. Although I do think your human needs to go to some counselling too as they are being an enabler! LOL!
I’ll book some counselling for the whole pack right away *waggy tail*
alfie you made me tired with all of that jumping back and forth BOL!!!
You sure fetch FAST!!
I love balls too and wish you lived by me so we could play a fun game of fetch together!
Barks and licks and love, Dakota
Rook that would have been so much fun, playing fetch together! *waggy tail*
I love your neologism — ballaholic. It makes me feel like dancing
Roo I had to look up that word you used too – two new words in one day, roo!
Hey Alfie,
That’s definite Mischief from your human buddy!! Maybe she just likes to see you Dance? You made me chuckle!!
Have fun,
Your pal Snoopy
I hope you don’t mind me telling you, I was laughing out soooo hard because of the dance steps you were showing us. I bet having a theme song added to it would’ve made it a great music video. LOL.
Huggies and Cheese,
Haopee
Rook that is such a good idea – get some disco moves to music going *waggy tail*
Hi Alfi
Yeah, there’s nothing better then a ball. My 2leggies call me ball junkie! And? They’re right. Let me know when You’re in the Netherlands again, because we’re moving to the Dutch border in ten days. So we could have a game.
Yours
Rike Neuberner (Newf/Bernese Mountain)
