Agility Classes are Pawsome
My third agility class was totally pawsome.
I learned how to walk backwards, sideways and how to swivel round and round with my front paws on a book. Apparently that was all to make me more agile and aware of what my hind paws are up to – as if I need that! Everyone knows the hind paws just follow what the front paws are doing! *waggyt tail*
Learning how to take Turns
When our teacher said we were going to learn how to do turns, Bella and I looked at each other and grinned. We though it meant taking turns to get treats – but i in actual fact we had to learn how to make 90 degree and 180 degree turns with jumps. Of course Bella and I were right anyways – we did get lots of treats! *waggy tail*
A Whole Circuit
At the end of the class they told us we’d get a chance to run round the whole circuit and cross the obstacles in a special order. Bella and I looked at each other and sighed. We really wanted to make it a competition, but we both realised we’d have to drag our slow humans around as well – and everyone knows how long that takes.
Anypaw – I hope you like the video, my human is the slow one in red with a dog fast as lightning. Bella’s human is the slightly faster one in blue with a chubby puppy in tow *grins*

Hee hee typist is very excited about starting agility classes, and she’s really enjoying your updates! Just hope she will be as good (She wont!)
Roooo good luck Dalton! *waggy tail*
I definitely see big progress Alfie, and wagging tails telling me how much you and Bella are enjoying this!
Wish I could see you swivel around with your front paws on the book, and the jumping 90 and 180 degree turns! Never knew that agility class would involve such tricks, pretty amazing!
You did see my 90, and 180 degree turns as I ran around the circuit *Waggy tail*
Ah… that’s right!
I had envisioned you jumping up and turning on the spot, like the exercise with the book…. stupid me!
In my next life I am going to be an agility dog, I would be great at it, just at 6 it is a bit late to start! Looks like you have so much fun!
You’d be a pawsome agility doggie Emma*waggy tail*
I love, love, love agility, Alfie. It’s one of the most pawsome things us dogs can do…at least that’s what I think.
Your pal, Sage
I think you’re right Sage! *waggy tail*
Hi Alfie,
I need, need, need to get into agility but I live in the country so have to make do with country trails. If my human can figure it out I will send you my picture. We appear to be related. much love, Carl Entlebucher.
Roooo Oh Carl, tell your humans that they can make an agility course in your garden! There are basic agility course obstacles to buy online, they are pawsome and so much fun! *waggy tail*
congrats on the agility! You look like your really learning in there. kirby also just had a video posted up, you should come check it out!
Rooo yeah I’m learning loads thanks! *waggy tail*
Yay you! You are learning quite a lot. I love reading about your updates. I keep getting more and more interested in doing it with Gretel but I just don’t think I can make the time commitment.
roooo how about making a small Gretel sized agility course at home, then you can play anytime you have five minutes to spare *waggy tail*
Wow! You really are totally pawsome! Good jobs both of you.
