We’ve had a couple of days of really sunny weather over here in the London, so I’ve been making the most of it.
And you know what that means, don’t you?
That’s right! Swimming, swimming, swimming!
Okay so I might have gotten a little over excited and pulled the flexi lead with me into the water – but hey, its drying up now so no harm done, right?
And who would have thought these things float anyway? YOu can see the red lead trailing behind me in one of the photos and I must have stepped on it in the other pic! *waggy tail*

That looks like an awesome swimming hole. I wish I could come with you.
Its a pawsome place – I wish I could invite all my buddies over there! *waggy tail*
Looking great Alfie!! Glad the flexi lead did float….
We didn’t swim, although it would have been a perfect idea, since we didn’t just have some sunshine, but the hottest days since 1994!! Temperatures around 37 C, would you believe it!! Too hot for any mischief….
It would have been a bit of an anchor if it didn’t float so I’m happy too! *waggy tail*
That top picture is beautiful! Alfie, it looks like you swam all the way to the Island … did you? I like your thinking, were you trying to bury your lead in the water so you could stay there all day?
Rooo Bella – this is my second swimming place – the one I haven’t shown you yet! It is beautiful place called Beverly Brook, you should come along one day! *waggy tail*
Geez, that looks awfully tropical there in that water! Hope there are no gators!!! Swimming is the absolute best when it is summertime! Emma
rooo no gators – just me! *waggy tail*
LOL! That is too funny that you took the flexi leash for a swim Alfie! I had no idea those things could float! Good to know!
Lets just say it floated for a while….until it was full of water! *Waggy tail*
What a great place to swim Alfie! Hey, swimming with your lead just gives your Momma easy access!
She’s gotta catch me first! *Waggy tail*
Alfie you just couldn’t wait to get in there could you?
Your face in that last shot is just priceless.
What dog doesn’t love a sunny day and a good swim?
All dogs should learn how to swim – its pawsome! *Wagy tail*
