Archie and Pino were barking at the traffic to make it go faster
Remember I mentioned I tried my paw at agility last week? Well, yesterday was meant to be our second lesson. I say ment to be because it didn’t quite happen according to plan.
I had prepared everything – I had packed my rucksack and filled the treat pouch with sliced chicken Frankfurters. I had asked my buddy Archie to come round and pick us up in their car, and I had even packed some snacks and a bottle of water for the human.
Everything was perfect, and I was ready to go jump some jumps and run through that tunnel again.
Then what happens?

It turned out that traffic was absolutely horrible because of the Paralympics Marathon – and after half an hour in the car we had only just made it a short journey away from home and I knew the class was about to start any minute.
I howled when I thought about the other doggies having fun on the agility course without us and asked Archie’s human to drive faster. Turns out we were already driving at full speed and after an hour in the traffic jam we had to give up and go back home again. I didn’t even get to taste those Frankfurters!
Rooooo – I’m calling mischief on traffic this week!

I guess I’m lucky I don’t live in a big city because my person says she’s seen the traffic get mischievous too when she goes to the city. I hope you can get that traffic in line before your next time to go to the agility course.

Oh Alfie! I bet you and Archie were really disappointed! And I was so lookin forward to seeing the action shots. Oh well, at least you’ve got another week to plan major agility mischief to make up for it all. *wag wag wag*
That is a major bummer! I have not had something like that happen to me but missing your agility is sad and the frankfurters is a serious tragedy! Hope you can make it next time!
